We often get major storms after his arrival, but we know that Spring is on it’s way. One version of how the town of Nemo was named is that it is omen spelled backwards. Another word for omen is sign. |  A Story in Stone ~ 14.5 x 11Limited Ed: $150 Artist Proof: $200 In 2004 Jay Torgerson, a Custer State Park employee, was killed while goose hunting. His mother Carol worked in the gallery for Jon and Gail. A memorial was set up for Jay to support projects in the park, and Jon painted “A Story In Stone” to help raise money for his memorial. Jon used the Norbeck Visitor Center for “A Story in Stone” because Jay had worked on its renovation. |

This particular frog pond was in Vermont.
