In the 1800s it was a toll road that went over Dallas Divide. When the Miners went to town they always had to save a dollar for the toll. It was often their last dollar.  Linda's 50 Chevy ~ 18 x 13Limited Ed: $150 Artist Proof: $200 Linda Flounders owns the Newton Fork Ranch (a wonderful B&B just outside of Hill City). One of her prize possessions is a 1950 one ton Chevrolet pickup that she uses on a daily basis, when she is there. Jon passed by it early one very frosty morning on his way to Hill City.
